It appears that crowdfunding has found its way to real estate in the United States.
Various outfits have sprung up to collect capital from various individuals to finance their deals.
"The key to successfully investing in real estate is performing a thorough due-diligence analysis," says David Manshoory, founder of AssetAvenue, which is a crowdfunding real estate platform.
AssetAvenue recently provided a few tips for rookies to spot a lousy real estate deal, such as: market conditions, misleading financials, poor-quality tenants, hidden property conditions, legal challenges and investing online.
